Ideal for trailers, or other assets that are exposed to the elements, the vehicle-powered Katana GPS tracker is designed to withstand changing weather conditions. The Katana allows customers to track an asset’s location and receive alerts when an asset has been moved or tampered with.
The Katana is a high-performance, vehicle-powered cellular tracking system – it has an integrated GPS receiver and a 3G, CDMA, or GPRS modem for wireless data communication. Additionally, its antennas for both cellular radio and GPS receivers are built right in.
With rechargeable batteries and an integrated accelerometer, the Katana is easy to install. Katana can operate from the following power sources: Vehicle (main), running lights, or solar. Katana can be programmed to wake-up on motion, on tamper, a preset schedule to send a status or update alert. Reports can be triggered periodically or in response to events – such as removing the vehicle power, movement, geo-fence violations, and many others.
The Katana comes with pre-configured software. Its internal motion sensor and configurable event alarms enable total management of your high-value assets, and various frequency reporting can be set when the device is moving or when stationary.
